Slowburn is a novel being written for exactly one reader. You choose one of nine fictional adults, write the first line, and the story is written with you over weeks and months — and it remembers.
What it is
Interactive romance fiction for adults, written in English for now; the site and the app are also available in Danish, German and French. Nine characters, aged 26 to 56, each written in-house with a sheet of their own. Prose, voices and portraits are generated by artificial intelligence, steered by that writing — and we say so at first sight, in the app and inside the audio and image files themselves.
What we will not do
Two lines are never crossed, however a request is framed: no content involving minors, and no real or identifiable people — not celebrities, not exes, not you. Both are enforced by filters on every input and every reply, and attempts count as breaches even when the filter catches them.
We also will not design for compulsion. No streaks, no countdowns, no guilt-trip messages when you leave. Nothing about intimacy or memory is sold back to you in pieces. The story waits; it does not pull.
Where your words go
Servers in the EU. Your stories are never used to train a model, never shown to other readers, and deleted when you ask — from inside the app, in one click, after downloading a copy if you want one.
Who
Slowburn is a ONEWORD Entertainment title, built by a developer in Denmark and operated by PowerQuant ApS. We keep a development log of what breaks, what the numbers were, and what is still broken, because a product for adults should be able to say so plainly.
